Tata Motors has introduced Tiago Electric with two battery packs; the first is a 19.2 kWh battery pack which, combined with the electric motor, generates 61 bhp of power and 110 Nm of torque, while the second is a 24 kWh battery pack which is the same electric motor.

Together with the engine, it generates power of 75 bhp and torque of 114 Nm. The smaller battery pack is claimed to offer a range of 250 kilometers, while the larger one provides a range of 315 kilometers.

  1. For charging, both battery packs are offered with the same charge, although both batteries take different times to trust.
  2. With a 15A socket charger, the smaller one gets fully charged in 6.9 hours, while the larger battery pack takes 8.7 hours.
  3. The smaller battery pack takes 5.5 hours with a 3.3kW AC charger, while the larger group takes 6.4 hours.
  4. The smaller battery pack takes 2.6 hours with a 7.2kW AC charger, while the larger one takes 3.6 hours.
  5. Apart from these three options, the company offers a DC fast charger that charges both the battery packs from 10% to 80% in just 57 minutes.
